Very nice original, or early reproduction of a 17th european parade shield. Etched over the entire surface with kings, nobles, floral decoration and arms. Edges are chiselled and rolled. rivets are all real, not cast like most Victorian repros. It's a head scratcher. 22 3/4 inch diameter.
A dress of armor. Housed in a museum in Stryia, Austria.
The HP Lovecraft Historical Society's weird illustrator Darrell Tutchton and weird graphic designer Andrew Leman teamed together to created a fabulous deck of Lovecraftian playing cards. It's a 52 card deck (plus 2 jokers) of standard playing cards, but the face cards depict Cthulhu, Shub Niggurath and Nyarlathotep; the ace of spades has an Elder Sign and Lovecraft himself is the joker. Poker, gin, hearts, go-fish, and all traditional card games will eat away a bit more of your sanity with this deck! NOTE: these cards are NOT part of the Chaosium/Fantasy Flight Games Call of Cthulhu Collectable card game. This is a traditional deck of cards.
