As the Autumn Moons grow full the different kingdoms take time to honor their dead and do so in their own special ways. Of all the celebrations at the time, there is one tradition that transcends every culture of Rynnyndar. Vessels made from gourds, pumpkins, turnips, wood, straw, or any other material that the area holds precious, are constructed to help the souls of those who haven't found their way into the afterlife find a temporary home. Before the end of the night these vessels are then burned in a pyre so that the souls are released to their proper afterlives. Beyond this the details definitely differ.
The Elves of Gaellia honor a holiday called Feis na Sluagh, known as Feast of Wandering Souls to those foreign to the nation. On the night of Feis na Sluagh the Leanbh Caillte and the Kal-Sidhe alike dress in masquerade to fool the spirits into going into their vessels. This is done mostly as a religious tradition, but that doesn't stop the elves from trying to outdo one another with standout attire.
